Speakers:
Dominique Vernier is an architect working for the IBM Global Cloud Sales Team and he created a package which provides some useful additional command-lines for the IBM SmartCloud Enterprise. As this package is written in Java, Dominique designed this package to allow developers to reused implemented Java classes. The source code is embedded in the provided jar file which provides a number of useful implementation examples! During this presentation Dominique will provide an overview of this package, the extra functionality provided, how to use them, how to reuse the Java classes and how to extend this Java framework to create new command-lines.
There are two times for the meeting. Dominique will be the speaker this month but will only be able to present for the US / Europe time not be able to present for the Asia Pacific time. Alex Amies will give a summary of Dominique’s talk and then discuss other command line tools, including questions about the dynamic attach and detach from December’s meeting.
Goal:
The IBM SmartCloud Enterprise API User Group is a technical community composed of individuals interested in the application programming interfaces (APIs) of the IBM SmartCloud Enterprise offering. The group includes customers, IBM Business Partners, independent software vendors, and IBM employees who share a common interest in understanding the APIs of the IBM SmartCloud Enterprise offering and how they can be used to automate processes and build solutions that integrate with IBM SmartCloud Enterprise.
The IBM SmartCloud API User Group is hosted by Alex Amies. Alex is a Senior Software Engineer in the GTS Development Lab team. He has been with IBM since 2002. His current assignment is Architect with the design team for the IBM SmartCloud Enterprise public cloud offering at ibm.com/cloud/enterprise. Alex has been working in the China Development Lab in Beijing since 2009. Prior to 2009 Alex was product architect for IBM Tivoli Identity Manager, based in Costa Mesa, California.
